Hmmm, i just had a thought, the BBQ is being thrown by Jenny, for her birthday, im not sure she'd see the good point in a page 3 model delivering burgers/tinnies!! |

bbq was great craic, 1st tin of beer was opened at 6pm, fell asleep after 5am, good night all round. weather was a bit dodgy but we managed to dodge the showers and get the food going all the same. went downtown around 11, good craic there and then back up to jimmy's after closing time. was roasting yesterday, was beautiful down by the river for the rowing part of the regatta, even went in for a dip in the barrow myself, last time was four years ago to the day. |

What can I say but sorry for my late arrival and mising the start of the BBQ and drinking. More important matters had to be accounted for in Croke Park first. Had an excellent time once I did arrive and reckon I more than made up for my late appearance by staying drinking with Ninger till the wee hours and only going to bed when we couldn't find anything to drink. the Regatta was class and it was really the first time I've seen Grauige properly in the day time. The river looked amazing alright and should have jumped in but was feeling less brave once I saw how deep the bloody thing was |
