hey jim,

do u remember the crowd blue monday dat used to play down in the anglers??they were playing in the stables last nite only now they're called transmitter (http://www.transmitter.ie), yer man was saying they have an album out and all now.

i was telling barry and smiley about the last time i saw them play in graigue and was just waiting for mickey hammer to come in and try and hit d singer and start a riot in the place for not playing enuff ac/dc tunes, was fecking priceless that night.

any mad plans for the weekend??

Well lad, was at a Rodreigo y Gabreilla Concert last week in Galway. The were fúcking amazing. Gabreilla played acoustic guitar and managed to get the sound of drum and bass as well as rhythm at the same time. Never heard anything like it before.

They played Metalica to Megadeth to other crap I never heard before. Anyway worth a listen if you ever get a chance.

yeah they're excellent, seen them in dolans a few times, do a deadly version of megadeths symphony of destruction alright. they've one or two cds out as well, well worth checking out.
