the bit torrent software seems to be the way to go for free mp3s, dunno if it will work in ul though with the firewall and all that. if you want albums on the cheap, go to http://www.mp3sparks.com/

Torrents are all that is available these days

Here is a base explaination of Torrents

You have a software client on your machine. You go to a torrent website, and download a torrent file. That file contains information on files that are being shared., The client downloads the files to your machine.

You wont be able to use it in UL, they have the torrent ports firewalled off, you can however use it at home to your hearts content if you have broadband, can considering you can get broadband and your house phone for 55 euro a month from eircom, there is no reason to to, if thats what you want to do

Are there no shares available anymore in UL?

Prob is lots of share among the undergrad population, but I no longer know that group or have time to go searching about for them.

Cheers for the help much appreciated

been getting my mullet on a lot lately and been spinning:

Guns N Roses - UYI 1&2, Appetite For Destruction, Lies
AC / DC - Live (Donnington 1991)
Def Leppard - Hysteria, Pyromania
Van Halen - I, 1984, 5150

Also been listening to a heap of Kraftwerk on you tube, no idea why, it might have something to do with watching Bill Bailey: Part Troll a few weeks ago
