The details may be sketchy, but they can be corrected by other parties So, it was a Friday night, and there had been much drinking done. Myself and Mairead Coady were in my room, talking about various guff. I was sitting on an arm chair that had found its way into my room, while Mairead was standing up beside my glass door press thingie. Mid conversation the door to my room opens up, and in, gracefull as a pig on ice, comes my friend, Dad. After muttering some thing in possibly some rare African language (“Ma,uggghr na mmmm, click clik”) he spies mairead and get a very nice smile on his face. Shuffling over next to her, he places one arm around her, and says something else in that African language, looks at me and then kisses mairead on the cheek. I have been watching this whole this, maintaining a firm lock on dads eyes. In silence. After having his kiss, out walked dad, and away he went. A stunned silence fell over the room. I turned to mairead “Was that my dad?” “Eh, yes” “Was he naked?” “Yes” |
